Since 25 May 2018, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (referred to as GDPR) has been applicable.

This clause contains information regarding the protection of your personal data. As the data controller, we are responsible for collecting and processing your personal data in connection with the statutory activities of the Foundation. The purpose of this clause is to inform you in what situations we process your data, for how long it is stored, what rights you are entitled to, and how you can exercise those rights.

WHAT ARE PERSONAL DATA, WHAT DOES THEIR PROCESSING MEAN AND WHO IS THE DATA CONTROLLER

  1. Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. Processing of personal data is essentially any operation performed on personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, storage, recording, organisation, modification, viewing, use, disclosure, restriction, erasure or destruction.
  2. Personal data collected by the To Get There Foundation are processed for various purposes and, depending on the purpose, different methods of collection, legal bases for processing, use, disclosure and retention periods may apply.
  3. WHEN DOES THIS PRIVACY POLICY APPLY?

  1. This policy applies whenever the Data Controller processes personal data, regardless of whether the data were obtained directly from the data subject or from other sources.

LEGAL BASES AND TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED

  1. Individuals visiting the website or using services provided electronically have control over the personal data they provide. The Controller limits the collection and use of user data to the minimum necessary to provide services at the expected level, in accordance with applicable law.
  2. The first category of data consists of information provided directly by users. Failure to provide certain data may result in limited access to some services. Data are provided in particular when:

    • completing questionnaires, applications or forms;

    • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Poland, this authority is the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
